The Great Wilderness Challenge Charity Ball is all about two things – raising funds for the charities supported by the GWC and having a good time!

Up to 350 guests are greeted on arrival by a pipe band and the evening starts with a drinks reception and entertainment. An elegant dinner, and a few surprises, are followed by one of the highlights of the evening – the Charity Auction.

Auction Lots in past years have included an all-inclusive two day retreat at Skibo Castle, an overnight stay and a round of golf at the De Vere Belfry, a 'flight' on the RAF's Nimrod Dynamic Simulator, ownership of a nine month old Pure Highland steer from prize winning breeders, a week at Glendaruel on the Cowal peninsula, a table for four at the Guys & Dolls Glamour Night at Hamilton Races, and a weekend at Glencalvie Estate.

After the Auction – dance the night away! One of Scotland's top ceilidh bands live on stage, a fabulous Prize Draw and late-night bar and disco complete this truly memorable evening.

This will be the fourth Great Wilderness Challenge Charity Ball. It remains one of the most eagerly anticipated social events of the year and one which, to date, has raised more than £89,000 for Scottish charities. This year's entertainment, fundraising and fun look certain to surpass even the brilliant nights of previous years.
